Meet the Parents

With your mega watt smile, warm heart and infectious laugh, you’ve already won your man’s affection, but what about his parents?

We get it, this is a #BigDeal. What to say? What to wear? And, most importantly – what do you do with your hair?!

Our advice? Be yourself! What better look than a polished but not-too-prissy ponytail to reflect your multi-faceted personality?

Hot to Trot

To create the perfect ponytail, you’ll need a few key products: Dry shampoo to add volume to dry hair, a styling cream with grip to smooth down sides and a medium hold finishing spray to keep it all in place. You will also need a brush, hair tie, bobby pins and a curling iron.

For Melissa’s ponytail, Heather used Cibu Ka Pow Dry Shampoo, Cibu High Density Volumizing Cream, Cibu Finista Flexible Finishing Spray and a Tangle Teezer Salon Elite hair brush.

Step 1: Add Volume

Spray a generous amount of Cibu Ka Pow Dry Shampoo through dry hair. Use fingers to massage product into roots to absorb excess oil. Brush through to distribute.

Step 2: Create Ponytail

Brush hair into high ponytail and secure with hair tie.

Step 3: Add Texture

Prep 1″ sections of ponytail with Cibu Finista Flexible Finishing Spray before curling.

Step 4: Sleek Sides

Emulsify a pearl size serving of Cibu High Density Volumizing Cream in palms and smooth over sides to tame fly aways and add shine.

Step 5: Add Pizzazz

Wrap a 1″ section of hair around base of ponytail and secure with bobby pins. Spray entire head again with Cibu Finista Flexible Finishing Spray to hold.

Step 6: Knock ‘Em Dead!

Now all you need to do is shine that mega watt smile and show up with Cibu for his mom. They love you already!
